I am a PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of Rochester and a Democracy Center Graduate Fellow for the 2025-2026 academic year. My research sits at the intersection of comparative politics and political economy, with a particular focus on electoral accountability, local governance, and spatial politics. I draw on empirical applications primarily from Latin America, especially Mexico.

Methodologically, I specialize in causal inference methods and applied data science, employing tools for the analysis of geospatial data and survey experiments.

Before graduate school I earned my B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Brigham Young University in 2021.

I have an incredibly common name! To clarify, I am not Emeritus Professor Sir Adam Roberts, the science fiction novelist Adam Charles Roberts, or any of these Adam Robertses.
